FAQ

RESERVATIONS

1. What is the minimum age to rent a motorcycle?

To rent a motorcycle, you must be at least 25 years old and hold a valid motorcycle endorsement.

All American Rally Raid – Expedition Cancellation Policy (Rent)

– Full Credit for Cancellations Over 30 Days:

– For cancellations made more than thirty (30) days before the scheduled tour or expedition start date, the full amount paid will be issued as a credit.

– These credits must be used within one (1) calendar year from the date of issuance.

– Credits are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

If you are renting a motorcycle, you must have a valid motorcycle endorsement on your driver’s license or an international motorcycle license if you are from outside the USA.

Unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for weather conditions, and rentals are non-refundable in the event of weather-related issues. The Colorado highlands are known for unpredictable weather patterns, so we advise all riders to come fully prepared for inclement conditions, regardless of the season.

Changing your rental dates can be challenging as our schedule often fills up during the summer. If availability allows, we may accommodate a date change, but this will be at our discretion.

The only additional costs are for insurance, optional accessories, and applicable taxes—no hidden fees! Unlike some companies that advertise low rental rates but add numerous extra charges, we are transparent with our pricing. When comparing rental options, ensure you consider the total price, including all fees.

All of our rentals include unlimited mileage, so you’re free to ride as far as you like!

ENTRANCES

1. Is a damage deposit required to rent?

Yes. Every renter must provide a damage deposit authorization on their credit card equal to the deductible of the insurance policy you select. Alternatively, if you are renting a bike, a $2500 damage deposit authorization on credit card will be required.

Yes. Damage deposits are fully refundable as long as the motorcycle is returned without any damage. If the motorcycle is damaged during your rental, the cost of repairs or part replacements (including labor) will be deducted from your damage deposit refund.

INJURY

1. What should I do if I damage the motorcycle?

First, contact the police and seek emergency medical assistance, then get in touch with us. You will be responsible for returning the motorcycle to us before the rental period ends. We will immediately start the insurance claim and replacement procedure.

Yes, you are required to keep all fluids (such as oil, coolant, etc.) topped up and ensure the tire pressures are correct.

You are responsible for getting your motorcycle to the nearest road where our support vehicle can access it. We are unable to recover motorcycles from inside a trail or from hard-to-reach areas. Additionally, there will be a fee for recovering your motorcycle if the breakdown is caused by user error.

You must get your motorcycle to the nearest road that can be reached by our support vehicle. We are unable to recover motorcycles from within a trail or from locations that are difficult to access. Additionally, there will be a charge for recovering your motorcycle if the breakdown is due to user error.

If the motorcycle fails due to a manufacturing issue, we will do our best to replace it at no extra cost. However, if the breakdown is caused by user error (such as a crash, maintenance problem, etc.), you are responsible for returning the motorcycle to our facility, or, depending on availability, we can retrieve the bike for a small fee.

DAMAGE PROTECTION

1. Do you provide insurance for the rental motorcycle?

Yes, insurance is mandatory for every rental. We offer various insurance options that can be purchased during checkout.

Personal motorcycle insurance that covers rental motorcycles is uncommon and usually not included in standard policies. If you have specifically added coverage for rental bikes to your personal policy, we can accept your insurance. We will need a letter from your insurance provider, on their official letterhead, addressed to us. The letter must include your policy number, the coverage limits for rental motorcycles, deductible amounts, and a statement confirming that your policy provides new replacement value coverage for our motorcycle during your rental period, covering all damages and theft.

Additionally, since we do not directly work with your insurance company and cannot guarantee how quickly they will process a claim, you will be responsible for all lost rental fees for the motorcycle you damaged until full payment is made by your insurance provider.

GENERALIZED

1. Our Cancellation Policy

Due to the nature of our business, reservation deposits for tour expeditions are non-refundable. If you are part of a group of 1-3 motorcycles and cancel within 30 days of your departure date, you will lose the full rental amount, and no refund will be provided. If you are in a group of 4 or more motorcycles and cancel within 60 days of your departure, the full rental cost will be forfeited with no refund issued. We strongly recommend purchasing trip insurance if you are uncertain about your ability to complete the rental.

Yes, you’re welcome to bring the motorcycle back before your scheduled return date. However, please note that no refunds are issued for early returns. Absolutely! Some of the best riding in the West is on unpaved terrain. All of our adventure bikes are equipped for off-road use, featuring skid plates, crash bars, hand guards, and 50/50 tires—perfect for exploring. Our dirt bikes, designed for extreme off-road adventures, are ready for you to enjoy as well. Just be sure to ride responsibly, as you are accountable for any damage caused to the bike during your rental.

EQUIPMENT

1. What should I do if I have an accident or need assistance outside of cell coverage?

Many areas of Colorado and the western mountainous states have no cell service, particularly in remote backcountry regions. We strongly recommend carrying a satellite device like a SPOT, Delorme, or a satellite phone for emergencies.

Unless the motorcycle model you’re renting comes with side luggage and/or top cases as standard from the manufacturer, all accessories are offered separately, so you only pay for what you need. We can add hard aluminum or soft side bags, top cases, tank bags, dry bags, or GPS units to any of our rental motorcycles.

Yes, we offer rentals for helmets, jackets, pants, gloves, and many other accessories. You can reserve them when making your booking or at checkout (depending on availability). However, we do not rent boots, so please bring your own pair of durable, motorcycle-specific riding boots.
