Can I take an AARR rental motorcycle into Baja California?
Travel through Baja California Norte and Baja California Sur may be permitted with prior written approval from All American Rally Raid and the required additional insurance.
Travel into continental Mexico is not permitted under the current standard rental terms.
What do I need to rent a motorcycle?
Riders must be at least 25 years old, present valid government-issued identification and hold a valid motorcycle driver’s license or qualifying International Driving Permit.
Additional requirements may apply depending on the route and destination.
Do I need off-road riding experience?
Not every Baja trip requires advanced off-road skills.
Valle de Guadalupe, Puerto Nuevo and many routes toward San Felipe can be planned around paved roads or accessible mixed surfaces.
Mike’s Sky Rancho and technical mountain routes are recommended only for riders with previous off-road experience.
How many days should I plan for Baja?
A long weekend can work for one main region.
A five-to-seven-day rental provides more flexibility for multiple destinations, changing road conditions, rest and unplanned stops without rushing the experience.
Which motorcycle should I choose?
The best motorcycle depends on your height, experience, luggage, preferred terrain and expected travel distance.

Can AARR help me plan my route?
Our team can provide practical route guidance based on your destination, riding ability, rental duration and preferred terrain.
Route conditions can change, so riders remain responsible for evaluating current conditions and riding within their abilities.
Can I use the rental motorcycle in a race?
Standard rental motorcycles are not automatically authorized or prepared for competition.
Any racing use requires separate written approval, specialized preparation and compliance with the organizer’s current rules, technical standards, tracking requirements and insurance policies.
